Job summary

F5 is seeking a Solutions Engineer in Bengaluru to lead and contribute to enterprise security deployments, web security architectures, and end-to-end integrations. You will collaborate with customers, define mitigation strategies for risks, and leverage cloud platforms for scalable delivery.

The role requires practical knowledge of WAF, cloud networking, and scripting (Python, Terraform). You will engage across teams to ensure timely, high-quality solutions and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Networks, Information Systems, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong understanding of core internet technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, HTML, and related web service delivery components.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, Azure, or AWS).

• Lead and/or contribute to implementation enterprise security and delivery solutions.
• Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with customers on web security and related technologies.
• Own end-to-end delivery of technical integrations, configuration, testing, Troubleshooting, documentation, and go-live support.

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Networks, Information Systems, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong understanding of core internet technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, HTML, and related web service delivery components.
• In-depth technical expertise in at least two of the following areas: Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Bot Management, Load Balancing/Proxy, Cloud Networking/Operations, Data Center Infrastructure, L3–L7 DDoS protection and CDN.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
• Foundational experience in networking and network security, with a career progression toward deep expertise in Layer 7 technologies.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting (Python, Terraform).
• Experience integrating solutions within complex environments, preferably in the software or cybersecurity industry.
• Background in Solutions Engineering or Professional Services, supporting large‑scale enterprise customers.
• Experience in technical roles involving web operations, incident response, customer support, system monitoring, or similar functions.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities, with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer relationship management.
