Job summary

F5 Networks in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Solutions Engineer to lead enterprise security deployments and web-application delivery projects. You will build trusted advisor relationships with customers, own end-to-end integrations, testing, and go-live support, and proactively mitigate technical risks.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage F5 tools for automation and API enablement, and contribute to process standardization to improve efficiency and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Networks, Information Systems, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, HTML, and web service delivery components.
• Cloud platforms: hands-on with GCP, Azure, or AWS.
• Foundational networking and network security with focus on Layer 7 technologies.
• Programming/scripting proficiency in Python and Terraform.

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Computer Networks, Information Systems, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong understanding of core internet technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, HTML, and related web service delivery components.
• In-depth technical expertise in at least two of the following areas:
• Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Bot Management, Load Balancing/Proxy, Cloud Networking/Operations, Data Center Infrastructure, L3-L7 DDoS protection and CDN.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
• Foundational experience in networking and network security, with a career progression toward deep expertise in Layer 7 technologies.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting (Python, Terraform).
• Experience integrating solutions within complex environments, preferably in the software or cybersecurity industry.
• Background in Solutions Engineering or Professional Services, supporting large-scale enterprise customers.
• Experience in technical roles involving web operations, incident response, customer support, system monitoring, or similar functions.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities, with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on customer relationship management.
