Medoralink in Uttarakhand seeks a dedicated obstetrician/gynecologist to deliver comprehensive maternal care across rural and semi-urban communities. You will lead antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal services, perform surgeries as needed, and mentor junior staff in best practices.

Ideal candidates hold MBBS with DGO/DNB/MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology, active NMC registration, and proven emergency obstetrics experience. Telemedicine and NHM familiarity are advantageous for outreach.

Qualifications

• MBBS with DGO/DNB/MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology is required.
• Valid NMC registration with active practice license.
• Experience in emergency obstetrics and operative gynecology.
• Proficiency in ultrasound-guided procedures and cervical therapies.
• Knowledge of national maternal health programs (Janani Suraksha Yojana, RMNCH+A).
• Experience in public health or rural healthcare settings is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide routine and high-risk antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care, including deliveries and obstetric interventions.
• Diagnose and manage gynecological conditions through evaluation, imaging, and surgical care.
• Conduct outpatient consultations, family planning counseling, and preventive screenings.
• Collaborate with community health workers to improve maternal health outreach.
• Maintain accurate patient records, adhere to protocols, and participate in audits and morbidity/mortality reviews.
• Train and mentor junior medical officers and nursing staff in best practices and emergency response.

About The Opportunity

Role & Responsibilities

• Perform routine and high-risk antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care—including normal and assisted deliveries, C-sections, and emergency obstetric interventions.


• Diagnose and manage gynaecological conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, PCOS, and reproductive cancers through clinical evaluation, imaging, and surgical intervention.


• Conduct outpatient consultations, family planning counseling, and preventive screenings (Pap smears, breast exams, HPV tests) in line with national guidelines.


• Collaborate with community health workers and primary care teams to improve maternal health outreach and reduce infant/maternal mortality rates.


• Document patient records accurately, maintain clinical protocols, and participate in quality audits and morbidity & mortality reviews.


• Train and mentor junior medical officers and nursing staff on gynaecological best practices and emergency response protocols.

Skills & Qualifications

• MBBS with DGO/DNB/MD in Obstetrics & Gynaecology


• Valid NMC registration with active practice license


• Proven experience in emergency obstetrics and operative gynaecology


• Proficiency in ultrasound-guided procedures and LEEP/Cervical cryotherapy


• Knowledge of maternal health protocols (Janani Suraksha Yojana, RMNCH+A)


• Experience in public health or rural healthcare settings preferred

• Training in laparoscopic gynaecological surgery


• Experience in telemedicine or mobile health outreach


• Familiarity with NHM or state-specific maternal health programs
