Job summary

Allianz Services in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, invites an experienced Consultant Financial Solution to join our finance analytics team. The role focuses on data analysis, reconciliation, and contributing to financial closing and production processes within legacy systems such as Global Genius and OPUS.

You will collaborate with business units and IT teams in an Agile SAFe environment, handling data flows to SAP and ensuring data quality across finance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree preferably in Engineering or Finance.
• At least 4-5 years of professional experience.
• Good understanding of Insurance accounting processes and related systems.
• Solid experience in data reconciliation, data analysis and data quality checks (Global Genius or OPUS).
• Strong Stakeholder Management and Customer Facing skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in teams.
• Very high analytical skills and IT awareness.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and perform error handling related to legacy systems (Global Genius & OPUS); support financial closing and production processes and end-to-end reconciliations.
• Collaborate with business units, IT teams and Agile Release Trains to improve finance system processes and changes.
• Provide analysis and documentation of changes for BAU activities.
• Participate in SAFe events and status meetings related to error handling and data analysis in SAP dataflow.

Skills: Financial Analysis, Good Accounting/Insurance knowledge, Good analytical skill, Reporting (FP&A).

Overall Objectives of Job

• Involvement in data analysis and error handling mostly related to legacy systems like Global Genius & OPUS , support financial closing & production processes as well as E2E reconciliations
• Collaborate with business units, IT teams and Agile Release Trains to improve processes, implement changes and leverage processes related to finance systems within AGCS
• Contribute in BAU units by providing analysis & documentation of changes
• Take part on events cadenced by the SAFe Agile framework like stand up meetings and status meetings related to error handling and analysis of transactional data in and from legacy systems and the dataflow to SAP
• Adherence to organizational guidelines and ISMS regulations

Professional experience

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree preferably in Engineering / Finance
• At least 4-5 years of professional experience
• Good understanding of Insurance accounting processes and related systems
• Solid experience in data reconciliation, data analysis and data quality checks especially in Global Genius or OPUS
• Solid Stakeholder Management and Customer Facing skills

• Independent and self-organized. High level of perseverance
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint ,MS Access

• Flare towards process improvements, data quality monitoring and data analysis
• Knowledge in SAP FI or SAP BW e.g. configurations, master data management, incident handling within SAP ERP or SAP BW is a plus
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
• Project management capabilities / experience would be a plus
