Job summary

Novo Nordisk Global Business Services (GBS) in Bengaluru seeks an Consultant – Advanced Analytics to design advanced reporting and generate actionable insights from IQVIA and internal datasets. You will shape KPI definitions, manage stakeholders, and support cross-functional analytics initiatives.

The role requires 7+ years in pharma, strong communication in English, and a Master’s or equivalent quantitative degree.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the Pharma industry.
• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities to translate business problems into efficient analyses.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work independently.
• Masters degree preferred from a recognized institute; under-graduate degrees in Pharma/BSc/Engineering acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex reporting in Excel/PowerPoint/Power BI for commercial activities.
• Analyse multiple datasets such as IQVIA Market/Sales and Prescription data to derive insights.
• Define KPIs from a user perspective and monitor project progress.
• Deliver insight-driven analytics and presentation-ready storytelling for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex reporting in Excel/PowerPoint/Power BI that relates to commercial activities
• Demonstrate understanding of multiple datasets including IQVIA Market/Sales, Prescription data, Internal Company Sales Data
• Possess awareness on various BI technologies with ability to operate and define KPIs from user perspective
• Monitor project progress, adjusting resources and priorities as needed
• Exhibit excellent presentation and story boarding skills on PowerPoint
• Analyse data to generate actionable insights and provide strategic recommendations
• Deliver analytical and consulting services for the design, execution and delivery of Business Analytics project
• Ensure superior stakeholder engagement by delivering insight-driven projects
• Collaborate across functions to execute cross functional projects successfully
• Maintain open and transparent communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the Pharma industry.
• Consulting experience would be a plus
• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities to translate business problems into most efficient and effective analysis plan; execute the analysis including data pull, data preparation, conclusions and recommendations
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Master’s Degree (preferably within quantitative/management discipline) from a well-recognized institute
• Under-graduate degree preferably in Pharma (B. Pharm), Science/Biotechnology (BSc) and Engineering (B. Tech)

Nice to have
