As a Consultant, you contribute to technical delivery across modernization and cloud transformation projects. You work under the guidance of senior consultants and architects, applying strong hands‑on skills to implement solutions that align with established standards. You build subject‑matter expertise while strengthening delivery consistency and technical execution. Our Advanced Analytics practice improves decision‑making through consistent, trusted analytics across four pillars—conversational analytics, decision agents, BI & dashboarding, and semantic modelling—and you contribute across all four, learning to build Advanced Analytics beyond dashboards—AI‑ready semantic models, Fabric data agents and Databricks Genie, and the decision‑intelligence patterns that turn data into action.

Responsibilities

• Execute delivery tasks that support solution architectures and modernization priorities.
• Implement application, data, or cloud components based on established technical designs.
• Collaborate with team members across App Innovation, Cloud Platform, and Data & AI to ensure integrated delivery.
• Follow delivery frameworks, coding standards, and quality checks established for the project.
• Participate in design walkthroughs and apply feedback to improve technical execution.
• Design and build performant Power BI semantic models using DAX, Power Query/M, and star‑schema modeling.
• Connect, transform, and model data from sources including:
  • SQL Server, Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric (OneLake / Lakehouse), and Databricks.
  • Excel, SharePoint, and third‑party systems.
• Apply data visualization and data‑storytelling best practices so insights are easy for people to explore and act on.
• Build reusable dataflows (Power BI / Fabric Dataflows Gen2) that feed governed semantic models.
• Contribute to conversational and self‑service analytics experiences—Copilot, Microsoft Fabric data agents, and Databricks Genie—that let business users ask questions of data in natural language.
• Use AI‑augmented tooling such as Copilot in Power BI and Fabric to accelerate model, report, DAX, and documentation development.
• Build familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools, and apply them in everyday analytics work to speed delivery and ground assistants on trusted data.
• Build AI‑ready semantic models—clear definitions, business context, and governed metrics—so both people and AI agents can reason over data consistently.
• Assist in building Microsoft Fabric data agents and translytical task flows (write‑back, annotations, and approvals from Power BI) under the guidance of senior team members.
• Learn 3Cloud’s decision‑intelligence patterns—how data becomes a signal, a decision, and an automated action with a human approval point.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and client stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Support documentation, testing, and validation activities aligned to delivery needs.
• Provide status updates, surface risks, and collaborate with leads to maintain execution quality.
• Apply current Azure technologies and Microsoft frameworks to optimize solutions for maintainability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to reusable assets and internal frameworks as assigned.
• Manage workload and commitments to meet utilization goals while maintaining architectural quality across engagements.
• Invests in internal thought leadership, culture of feedback, knowledge‑sharing, and/or Intellectual Property development opportunities, including communities of practice and internal initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 2 or more years of relevant experience implementing technical solutions on Azure.
• 2+ years of experience in business intelligence or analytics.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI, including:
  • Advanced dashboard and report development.
  • Data modeling and star schema concepts.
  • Intermediate to advanced DAX, Power Query/M, and semantic modeling.
  • Proficiency in SQL for complex queries and performance tuning.
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2) and/or Databricks.
• Interest in AI‑augmented analytics—Copilot, LLMs, and MCP‑based tools—and how they change the way people interact with data.
• Curiosity about decision intelligence—how analytics can trigger action (alerts, write‑back, workflows), not just report on it.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders.
• Strong communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Technical foundation in one Azure domain (Application Innovation, Cloud Platform, or Data & AI).
• Demonstrated ability to execute assigned tasks within application, cloud, or data domains.
• Experience working within delivery teams and following established technical processes with attention to detail.
• Effective communicator able to work collaboratively across project teams.
• Exposure to hybrid or multi‑cloud environments is a plus.
• Proven success operating within large, matrixed consulting organizations and navigating the scale, complexity, governance, and pace of a Global System Integrator (GSI) environment. Ability to manage competing priorities, collaborate across cross‑functional teams, and consistently deliver results in a fast‑paced, performance‑driven setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft analytics and cloud tools such as:
  • Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse.
  • Power BI Service administration and workspace management.
  • Exposure to data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and analytics architecture.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery and consulting engagement models.
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power BI Data Analyst, Azure Data Fundamentals).
• Exposure to Fabric data agents, Databricks Genie, or other natural‑language / agentic analytics tools.
