Job summary

OpenText, The Information Company, is seeking an experienced Java & UI Developer in Hyderabad, India, to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java technologies and modern UI frameworks. You will work across backend and frontend stacks, ensuring code quality and performance in a CI/CD driven environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Java/Java EE, Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience in RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, prompt engineering, AI APIs, and AI-assisted application development.
• Strong understanding of Cloud technologies, preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Front-end experience with Angular/React/JavaScript.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap.
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and automated deployment processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Understanding of multi-tenant applications and scalability challenges.

Responsibilities

Your Impact

We are seeking an experienced Java & UI Developer with 4+ years of hands‑on experience in backend and frontend development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications using Java technologies and modern UI frameworks.

This role requires a keen eye for code quality, system performance, and troubleshooting production issues while ensuring compliance with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

What The Role Offers

• Understanding of document management, content lifecycle, workflow, metadata, and enterprise content repositories
