Business Analyst I (Pricing and Market access) Business Analyst I Department - Commercial Insights and Analytics Organization – Novo Nordisk Global Business Services (GBS) India. Your new role

In this role, you will be at the heart of pharmaceutical pricing and market access, translating complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across therapy areas. You will own end-to-end pricing processes and collaborate with stakeholders across diverse geographies to deliver high-quality analytical outcomes.

Day-to-day tasks will include:
  • Providing accurate pricing information and results to stakeholders across Insulin and Rare Disease therapy areas
  • Developing and maintaining pricing and reimbursement reports, from creation and automation to sharing with a broader audience
  • Working on price business cases, certificates, and Loss of Exclusivity projects to deliver actionable insights
  • Owning the end-to-end process from price validation; pricing and reimbursement dashboards to record updates in the system
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements and execute strategic pricing projects
  • Using strong quantitative and analytical skills to evaluate pharmaceutical pricing data and generate clear, business-relevant reports independently
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to tight deadlines and shifting priorities

Your skills & qualifications

We're looking for someone who combines analytical rigour with strong communication skills and a genuine drive to improve processes. You'll bring with you:

  • 4–6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong focus on pharmaceutical pricing and market access
  • Master's degree, preferably in a quantitative or management discipline, from a well-recognised institute, with an undergraduate degree in Pharmacy (BPharm), Science/Biotechnology (BSc), or Engineering (BTech)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and basic VBA; working knowledge of Power BI dashboarding is essential
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills with proven ability to translate complex business problems into efficient analysis plans, including data extraction and preparation
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with fluency in English, and the ability to build strong working relationships and influence stakeholders at all organisational levels
  • Solid project management capabilities with the ability to manage and coordinate with multiple stakeholders across diverse geographies
Additional advantage
  • knowledge of IPR modelling tools, health economics, statistical tools, IMS MIDAS database, and SAP Business Warehouse or Business Objects
