Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Project Manager for industrial projects. The role requires overseeing all phases of construction, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget control on site with coordination across stakeholders.

Candidates should hold a BE Civil, have 15–20+ years of relevant experience, and have delivered at least 1–2 industrial/PEB projects end to end. Consultancy background is preferred.

Qualifications

• BE Civil degree required.
• 15–20+ years of relevant experience.
• Must have completed 1-2 Industrial / Industrial Shed / PEB projects end to end.
• Experience with Project Management Consultancy is preferred.
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor site execution to align with drawings and specs.
• Ensure standard adherence in contractor work statements and site alignment.
• Identify bottlenecks, flag delays, and report critical activities to the client.
• Advise contractors to improve productivity through work-study techniques.
• Track procurement of materials, equipment and labour against schedule.
• Support QA/QC in meeting quality parameters.
• Support safety team in implementing safety standards and JSA.
• Escalate abnormal progress or safety issues to the PM.

Job Description Summary

This role is responsible for plan and coordinate all phases of a construction project to ensure its completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Job Description

About the Role:

• Monitoring theexecution of work at site to ensure alignment to the drawings and specification.
• Ensuring the workability and adherence to standards in the work statement/methodologies submitted by contractors for each item of work and ensuring the alignment to the same at site. Responsible for all site work related documentation for the assigned items of work.
• Anticipate and flag imminent bottlenecks. Take steps to avoid delays. Furnish necessary reports of critical activities and super critical activities to client
• Advice contractors in enhancing the resource productivity by implementing various work study techniques
• Monitor procurement of materials, equipment and labour by contractors with respect to the time schedule and advise them suitable measures for improvement
• Assisting QA/QC – in – charge in ensuring all quality parameters are met.
• Assisting the safety team in implementing the safety standards at site; provide all support for making job safety analysis.
• Escalating to project manager about all abnormal developments with respect to progress of work, safety, quality, resources etc.

About You:

• B.E. Civil
• 15 - 20 Years & above of relevant experience
• Should have completed at least 1-2 Industrial / Industrial Shed /PEB projects end to end during the tenure
• Candidate working with Project Management Consultancy would be preferred
• Technical awareness of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works
• Excellent organizational and motivational skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
