Adani Group is seeking a Construction Equipment Team Member to execute installation and alignment tasks for various equipment at designated units in Vidisha, MP. You will ensure adherence to approved plans, manage pre-execution activities, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and verify foundations and alignment for a timely handover.

Qualifications

  • Educational qualification: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with installation and alignment of equipment preferred.
  • Knowledge of safety and quality standards in site operations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate installation and alignment of static, rotary, and packaged equipment.
  • Monitor foundation status, bolt placement, and erection activities on site.
  • Review drawings and scope to ensure adherence to procedures and specs.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance during installation.
  • Support handover with documentation and coordination with E&I teams.

Job description

Purpose/Objective
  • The Construction Equipment Team Member is responsible for the effective execution of installation and alignment tasks for various static, rotary, and package equipment at designated units.
  • This role ensures that equipment is installed according to approved plans and specifications, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • By managing pre-execution activities, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, and verifying equipment foundation and alignment, the Team Member contributes to the timely and successful completion of equipment installation projects, ensuring that equipment is operational and ready for handover.
Key Responsibilities of Role
  • Construction Equipment Team Member-PETCHEM Site Operations & Oversight: Ensure accurate and timely equipment foundation status by monitoring civil foundation drawings, checking construction status, and confirming proper bolt placements, facilitating smooth equipment erection.
  • Project Planning & Coordination: Achieve timely equipment installation by preparing and executing detailed erection schemes, coordinating ground preparation, crane placement, and resource allocation, and ensuring equipment and materials are delivered and available on-site as scheduled.
  • Technical Design Review: Maintain design accuracy and alignment by reviewing equipment specifications, package documentation, and foundation requirements, ensuring compliance with the provided drawings and installation protocols.
  • Compliance, Quality & Safety Management: Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards by monitoring foundation handovers, checking material and equipment delivery, and verifying adherence to installation procedures and safety protocols.
  • Risk & Change Management: Minimize project risks by proactively addressing potential issues related to equipment installation and alignment, implementing corrective actions as needed, and ensuring smooth transitions between installation phases.
  • Commissioning, Handover & Post-construction Support: Facilitate successful equipment handover by preparing detailed documentation, coordinating with the E&I department, and ensuring equipment is fully operational and ready for acceptance and post-construction support.
