Job summary

Motherson Technology Services Limited is seeking engineers to develop software for Automotive Android OS and connectivity stacks in India. You will work across C++, Java, Linux, and Android HAL/Services/Framework, addressing AUTOSAR and AOSP interactions.

The role emphasizes strong OOP design, unit testing, and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams to deliver reliable automotive software solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in C++, Java, Linux and Automotive Android OS, AUTOSAR, AOSP.
• Experience in Bluetooth Low Energy and BT stack for Automotive.
• Experience in Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi layers and regulatory considerations.
• Exposure to Android HAL, Android Services and Android Framework.
• Strong object-oriented design and software architecture.

Responsibilities

• Work on C++, Java, Linux for Automotive Android OS, AUTOSAR, and AOSP.
• Work on Bluetooth Low Energy and BT stack for Automotive.
• Develop and optimize Wi‑Fi layers and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to Android HAL, Android Services and Android Framework.
• Apply solid OOP design and software architecture practices.
• Collaborate with teams and suppliers; ensure robust unit testing.

• Work experience in C++, Java, Linux and Automotive Android OS, AUTOSAR, AOSP
• Exprience in Bluetooth low Energy, BT stack for Automotive
• Exprience in areas like Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi layers and regulations
• Exposure and experience in Android HAL, Android services, Android Framework.
• SW design and architecture: sound understanding of OOP concepts and design

patterns

• Unit test frameworks like Google test and JUnit
• Excellent communication and supplier management
• Have worked with source control tools Git/Gerrit
• Critical thinking and problem solving
• Teamwork and collaboration

Preferred candidate profile

Automotive Android OS and Automotive domain along with Android Based Development (HAL, FW, Services & Application, GAS) or Connectivity Technology (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, BLE, Wi-Fi low layer) SW Development
