Job summary

Quest Global Bengaluru seeks an experienced Aerostructures Stress Engineer to perform hands-on concession work for wing and fuselage structures. The role focuses on meeting stress requirements via Airbus methods, with signatory responsibilities as needed.

The candidate will leverage ISAME, Mathcad and SAP tools, conduct hand calculations, and justify stress solutions per customer methods. Strong English communication is essential for coordinating with design teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on execution of Aerostructures composite/Metallic stress concession.
• In-depth knowledge of stress requirements per Airbus methods.
• Capable of adapting to concession stress and signatory responsibilities.
• Tool knowledge of ISAME, Mathcad and SAP.
• In-depth knowledge/work experience on hand calculations.
• Stress justification to support design solutions per customer methods & process.
• Understanding design requirements (drawing reading etc).
• Good Verbal and written English skills.
• Experience in static and fatigue stress assessment.
• Understand relevant standards and procedures for concessions.
• Report and resolve critical technical issues through customer methods.
• Coordinate with Design assessment team for stress solution verifications.
• Understand load path on wing/fuselage structure.
• Knowledge of primary and secondary aircraft structures.
