Job Description

1. Work closely with Product Management & Solution Architects to understand requirements and map them to low level architecture
2. Define the E2E design for the team including technologies & infrastructure
3. Drive technical decisions with engineering leadership and solve complex problems
4. Write high-quality code that meets software development best practices
5. Provide technical guidance and support to team members and assist in resolving technical challenges.
6. Conduct critical peer code reviews and provide feedback on code
7. Work in a start-up environment and adapt to changing priorities
8. Cultivate strong teamwork, passion & positive energy within the team
9. Ensure that software development best practices are followed by the team, ensuring continuous delivery and quality of the deliverables
10. Mentor and coach team members to help them grow and develop their technical skills
11. Be an active participant of the Engineering Leadership team and ensure the team’s success
12. Stay up-to-date with the latest software development technologies, methodologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
2. 9 to 12 years of experience in software development using Java & JS technologies
3. Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns
4. Experience in designing applications E2E using any of Public Cloud and containerization techniques
5. Experience in developing large-scale enterprise applications and managing complex codebases, as well as a solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
6. Solid understanding of software development best practices, including software design patterns, testing strategies, and source control.
7. Knowledge of database design and development using relational databases as well as NoSQL databases
8. Experience with micro-service design, and serverless architecture
9. Experience architecting systems for performance and scalability
10. Good understanding of Continuous Integration & Continuous Development processes
11. Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
13. Proven experience with Agile Development practices

Good to Have:

1. Understanding of 5G networks would be a Plus
2. Experience with ML/AI Technologies
3. Experience of working on low-code no-code platforms
