Job summary

NavratanGemstones is seeking a CAD Designer to craft commercially viable jewellery designs for the B2C market. The role requires strong CAD expertise, rendering ability, and an understanding of production feasibility and costing.

You will create detailed 3D models, optimise for weight and setting, and coordinate with production and merchandising teams to bring collections to market.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with jewellery CAD software (Rhino, Matrix, MatrixGold, JewelCAD).
• Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of product costing and metal weight optimisation.
• Expertise in realistic rendering (KeyShot, V-Ray or equivalent).
• Good sense of proportion, aesthetics and gemstone placement.
• Ability to design for the B2C retail market.

• Prior experience in the jewelry or luxury goods industry is an advantage.
