Job summary

apex laboratories is seeking a dedicated operator to manage compression processes in the manufacturing area. The role involves cleaning the compression area, maintaining and sterilizing machine parts, and ensuring readiness before and after production.

You will weigh bulk powder, prepare powder and tablet samples, and verify product quality at the start of compression. Regular sample follow-up and adherence to SOPs are required to ensure consistent tablet weight and quality.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning the compression area and ensuring readiness of compression machine before and after working and emptying the area of any trace of the previous product.
• Performing daily maintenance such as lubrication and cleaning and sterilization of the compress fingers and machine parts and informing the supervisor in case of a malfunction.
• Weighting the bulk (powder) received in the compression room before starting compression and delivering a sample of the powder and a sample of tablets at the beginning of compression to verify the quality of the product before completing the work and follow up on sending samples during work according to the specified routine.
• Operate the compression machines according to the SOP and determination parameters to compression tablets.
• Monitoring the weight homogeneity of the tablets according to the range for each product and recording the data in the compression records.
