Role Description The Compositor role at Studio 51 is a part-time hybrid position based in Mumbai, with flexibility for some work-from-home days. The Compositor will be responsible for combining live-action footage, CG elements, and animated layers to create polished, seamless shots that align with the project’s visual style. Day-to-day tasks include integrating lighting passes, color matching, rotoscoping, keying, and applying visual effects to ensure continuity and realism. The role involves collaborating closely with supervisors, CG artists, and animators, reviewing shots, implementing feedback, and maintaining high quality standards under production deadlines. The Compositor will also assist in troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing workflows, and contributing creative ideas to enhance storytelling and visual impact.
