Job summary

Nordex Group in Chennai, India, seeks an experienced software engineer to develop MATLAB/Simulink based control software for wind turbine power converters. You will also program PLCs, develop C/C++ libraries, and specify application software in agile tools.

Validation tests for converter software will be designed, and close collaboration with hardware and other internal teams is expected. The role requires a BE/BTech in Electrical Engineering or ME/MTech in Power Systems with at least five years

Qualifications

• BE/BTech graduate in Electrical Engineering or ME/MTech in Power System with working experience in Power Converter Sectors.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience is mandatory.

Your Tasks

As a member of the Converter Control Development Team, you will develop software functions for the Nordex inhouse converter, that is one of the most relevant parts of Nordex wind turbines.

• Development of application software for wind turbine power converter in Matlab/Simulink
• PLC programming and library development in C/C++
• Specification of application software in typical agile tools (Confluence, JIRA or equivalents)
• Specifying and developing validation tests for power converter application software.
• Collaborate closely with power converter hardware development team & internal departments

Your Profile

• BE/BTech graduate in Electrical Engineering or ME/MTech in Power System with working experience in Power Converter Sectors.
