Role Overview

As a Team Member of the Compliance function in the Insurance & Wealth sector, you will assist the Vertical Head in managing regulatory affairs and compliance. You will also report to the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) for specified projects or assignments. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with various regulations, coordinating for periodic regulatory filings, handling specific regulatory submissions, providing routine clearances and guidance to businesses/functions, and delivering special projects and assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with various regulations by disseminating information to relevant functions and following up for compliance.
• Coordinate with respective functions for data related to periodic regulatory filings and ensure alignment with requirements before submission to the regulator.
• Manage specific regulatory submissions by coordinating with internal stakeholders and obtaining necessary information for submission.
• Provide routine clearances, guidance, and clarification to businesses/functions based on knowledge of specific regulations.
• Deliver on special projects and assignments as guided by the CCO from time to time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Law, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Prior experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field within the insurance or wealth sector.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal stakeholders and regulators.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Professional certifications related to compliance or risk management would be an advantage.
