Job summary

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals seeks a Compliance Associate to support the India Commercial Compliance function. The role will help plan and execute compliance programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, company policies, SOPs and standards of conduct.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree or equivalent (LLB/Compliance cert) with 1–2 years of experience in ethics, compliance or related fields, and familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree, LLB, or certification in Risk Management, Audit, Ethics & Compliance.
• 1–2 years of experience in Ethics & Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Legal, or related areas.
• Exposure to the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare laws, and compliance standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, development, and execution of compliance program requirements.
• Work closely with Business and cross-functional teams on marketing and medical events, including reviewing event proposals/requests against local SOPs and policies.
• Assist in drafting, benchmarking, reviewing, and implementing compliance policies, processes, manuals, standards, and frameworks.
• Support the implementation of data analytics and technology solutions to simplify compliance processes and identify potential risks proactively.
• Prepare compelling presentations and conduct detailed data analysis using MS Office and other relevant tools.
• Support the development and execution of compliance communication and training programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning, development, and execution of compliance program requirements.
• Work closely with Business and cross-functional teams on marketing and medical events, including reviewing event proposals/requests against local Glenmark SOPs and policies.
• Support the Identification of compliance risks and potential areas of vulnerability and assist in developing corrective action plans.
• Assist in drafting, benchmarking, reviewing, and implementing compliance policies, processes, manuals, standards, and frameworks.
• Support the implementation of data analytics and technology solutions to simplify compliance processes and identify potential risks proactively.
• Prepare compelling presentations and conduct detailed data analysis using MS Office and other relevant tools.
• Support the development and execution of compliance communication and training programs.
• Assist in implementing various components of the Compliance framework.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive compliance and ethical matters with professionalism and integrity.

Education & Experience

• Master’s Degree / LLB / Certification in Risk Management, Audit, Ethics & Compliance.
• 1 – 2 years of experience in Ethics & Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Legal, or related areas.
• Exposure to the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare laws, and compliance standards will be an advantage.
