Job Title: Competitive Solutioning Data Analyst

Job Summary:

This role is based in India with a tactical focus on the data analysis of highly segmented, incomplete IT Services pricing and solution data.

The Competitive Solutioning Data Analyst (CSDA) will collect, clean, rationalize, and analyze solution and price data from multiple sources including from within Mphasis. These data are used to populate a suite of solution estimation and pricing tools.

Responsibilities:

• Tool Creation
• Create a suite of solution, cost, & price estimation tools
• Develop a data collection plan to populate those tools with market benchmarks
• Data analysis
• Rationalize differing data on solution, cost, & price for IT services, SW, & HW
• Gather data from multiple sources external to Mphasis
• Make recommendations based on data findings
• Reporting
• Create an executive-level reporting packages of results, data findings, market trends, and status
• Collaborate with opportunity pursuit teams
• Improve the Competitive Solutioning team’s capabilities
• Recommend tool enhancements

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in the IT Services industry.
• 5+ years’ experience doing data analysis with incomplete and “dirty” datasets.
• Comprehensive understanding of Profit & Loss toolset components.
• Experience with estimation, costing, and pricing data.
• Experience in gathering and using benchmark data from third party sources.
• Exceptional data analysis skills.
• Strong creative problem-solving skills.
• Detail oriented
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Math or Statistics or equivalent experience.
• Deep skills in Advanced Excel, including Excel Logical Functions, Lookup Functions, Visual Basic, and Automation functions such as VBA Macros
• Strong skills in creating clear and concise Microsoft PowerPoint presentations for Executive-level reviews
• Experience with Power BI and Power Apps is preferred
