Youth for Seva in Bengaluru seeks a Competitive Exam Trainer to identify scholarships and entrance exams for government school children, teach science, mathematics and aptitude, and guide each child through counselling, paperwork, exam day and admission.
You will work across two Bengaluru school locations, coordinating with parents, school authorities and partner organisations, while ensuring consistent progress reporting and student support for up to two years.
Youth for Seva is a volunteer driven organisation that connects ordinary people with children and communities who need support. Much of its work happens inside government schools, where volunteers and staff help children learn better, stay in school and reach opportunities they would not otherwise hear about. Many bright children in these schools never sit for national scholarship or residential school exams simply because nobody told them the exams exist or helped them fill the forms. Youth for Seva works to close that gap, one school and one child at a time. This role sits within Youth for Seva's school programme team in Bengaluru, which prepares government school children for competitive examinations and sees them through to enrolment.
As Competitive Exam Trainer you will find the scholarship and entrance exams that government school children are eligible for, teach them the science, mathematics and aptitude they need to clear those exams, and stay with each child through counselling, paperwork, exam day and admission. You will work closely with children, their parents, school authorities and partner organisations, moving between two school locations in Bengaluru.
