  • Partner with location leaders to enhance their visibility and positioning through curated messaging, event presence, and stakeholder engagement

About the Team

The Strategic Development (SD) India team plays a central role in enabling Swiss Re India's journey towards becoming a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for the Swiss Re Group. The team shapes the strategic agenda and direction of the centre's journey, working closely with location leadership, multiple business leaders, and steering bodies to drive impactful strategic initiatives and projects.

Beyond the India agenda, the team also delivers high-impact Group-wide projects that help Swiss Re's Business Units and Group Functions meet their Group Priorities - directly contributing to Swiss Re's overall strategic objectives.

About You

You are a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach - someone who can zoom out to see the big picture while rolling up your sleeves to get things done. You are an empathetic communicator with a genuine flair for building communities and culture, and you bring a collaborative mindset that allows you to influence and inspire across levels and functions. You are comfortable navigating a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities, and you bring both creativity and rigour to everything you do.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
  • 7-10 years of experience in communications, community engagement, and project management roles, preferably within a global or matrixed organization
  • Proven track record in managing initiatives that span leadership enablement, internal communications, and employee engagement
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to craft messages that resonate across diverse audiences
These are additional nice to haves:
  • Experience with platforms such as Yammer, SharePoint, and internal branding tools
  • A strategic mindset combined with practical execution capabilities
  • Experience working in a financial services, reinsurance, or professional services environment
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority across levels and geographies
  • Comfort working with ambiguity and evolving priorities in a dynamic global organization

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.
