Khushi Baby in Mumbai is hiring for a public health program associate to support NURTURE users, coordinate with NRC staff, ICDS functionaries, and frontline workers, handling queries and guiding users through workflows. You will maintain issue trackers, handle grievances, monitor WhatsApp channels, assist in training sessions, and help translate materials into Marathi when needed.

Support day-to-day communication with NURTURE users, including NRC staff, ICDS functionaries, Public Health functionaries, Nodal Officers, and other programme stakeholders.
Respond to routine queries, provide basic guidance on NURTURE workflows, and follow up with users who require additional support or handholding.
Maintain records of user interactions and elevate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal team.
Receive, document, and categorize user grievances, technical issues, access issues, and programme-related queries received through calls, WhatsApp, meetings, and trainings.
Provide first-level support, elevate unresolved issues to the relevant team, and follow up until closure.
Maintain updated issue and grievance trackers, including status and resolution.
Monitor designated NURTURE WhatsApp groups and other communication channels and respond to routine queries using approved guidance.
Circulate programme updates, reminders, instructions, training information, and system-related communications to relevant users.
Track frequently asked questions and recurring communication requirements and share them with the Community Engagement Manager.
Support the coordination and execution of NURTURE orientation, refresher, and user-support sessions, including participant communication, scheduling, attendance, and logistics.
Assist during training sessions, practical demonstrations, and user handholding, and document questions and feedback raised by participants.
Share training materials and recordings with participants and maintain training-related records.
Support the development of simple, user-friendly WhatsApp messages, FAQs, user guides, walkthroughs, and other communication materials.
Assist in updating communication materials based on changes to NURTURE workflows and features.
Support translation and localization of materials into Marathi where required.
Support the Community Engagement Manager and Programme team in meetings, review activities, stakeholder coordination, and other NURTURE-related activities.
Assist with preparation of presentations, trackers, meeting materials, and documentation.
Follow up with stakeholders on assigned tasks and ensure timely completion of activities.
Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Development Studies, Rural Development, Communications, Health Management, or a related field.
2+ years of relevant experience in community engagement, programme implementation, public health, digital health, customer support, field coordination, or communication roles.
Fresh graduates with a strong interest in public health, technology, and social impact may also be considered.
Experience working with government programmes, healthcare institutions, NRCs, ICDS, or frontline workers will be an advantage.
We are looking for someone who is people-oriented, dependable, and comfortable with execution. The Associate should enjoy speaking with users, helping them solve day-to-day problems, keeping track of details, and ensuring that no issue or follow-up is lost.
The role requires someone who can work comfortably at the intersection of people, technology, and public systems — listening to users, providing timely support, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring that activities are completed properly.
You do not need to know everything about NURTURE when you join. A willingness to learn, ask questions, take ownership of assigned responsibilities, and work closely with the team is more important.
Note: The candidate will be on a probationary period for the first 90 days of the contract
