Role Summary

Lead community-building, on-ground activations and event programming for Broadway at Ambience Mall. Create an inclusive venue culture, coordinate all onsite experiences, and run offline/store marketing and local partnerships. Role focus is on engagement, programming quality and community growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Community & Culture
  • Build and nurture a local arts & audience community through regular programming, membership meetups, artist residencies, and neighbourhood engagement.
  • Act as the public face of Broadway in Delhi: liaise with artists, colleges, cultural groups, neighbourhood associations and local influencers.
  • Develop venue culture guidelines and guest experience standards to ensure welcoming, inclusive programming.
  • Event Programming & Management
  • Curate, plan and run recurring and one-off events (theatre, music, comedy, workshops, open-mic, themed nights).
  • Full ownership of event execution: concept, production planning, vendor/talent coordination, run-of-show, safety and compliance.
  • Coordinate with FOH, backstage, technical and F&B teams for seamless delivery.
  • Offline & Store Marketing (Non-sales)
  • Drive local awareness and walk-ins via mall activations, flyers, posters, window displays, college outreach, local media partnerships and community outreach.
  • Design in-venue experiences, themed décor, signage and merchandising to create memorable visits and community hangouts.
  • Plan grassroots promotional calendars for weekends, special programming and seasonal festivals.
  • Partnerships & Outreach
  • Open to build relationships with local cultural organisations, schools, colleges, artist collectives, NGOs and community groups for co-created programming.
  • Able to arrange collaborations, barter partnerships or co-produced events to deepen local ties and enrich programming.
  • Operations & Admin
  • Maintain event calendars, artist contracts, permits, risk assessments and vendor contacts.
  • Manage event budgets, petty cash and supplier coordination to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collect and act on guest feedback; document learnings and maintain handover notes for recurring formats.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • 2–5 years experience in community management, cultural programming, event management or offline/experiential marketing — preferably with live-entertainment, F&B, theatre or cultural spaces.
  • Proven experience running offline activations and live events end-to-end.
  • Deep familiarity with Delhi’s local arts, college and cultural ecosystem. Delhi-local candidates only.
Skills & Attributes
  • Strong community-building and relationship skills; comfortable engaging artists and diverse audiences.
  • Excellent event planning and production coordination skills; detail-oriented and calm under pressure.
  • Creative, practical, and hands-on — able to execute guerrilla and grassroots initiatives.
  • Good organisational and basic budgeting skills.
  • Flexible schedule; available evenings and weekends frequently.
  • Comfortable with Google Workspace and common ticketing/event management tools.
Desirable
  • Existing Delhi network of performers, cultural organisations and college contacts.
  • Experience with membership models, community CRM or volunteer coordination.
  • Basic AV/production and stage management knowledge.
KPIs
  • Number and quality of community-led events and programs launched
  • Regular attendance/participation in community activities (growth and retention)
  • Artist/partner satisfaction and repeat collaborations
  • Local awareness metrics (store-based activations, college outreach reach)
  • Guest feedback and program quality ratings
