Job description

The Communication Coordinator will contribute to a range of initiatives across the Communication function, mainly supporting four teams:
•The Corporate Responsibility team: Assisting with the communication and administration of WTW’s matching gifts and charitable giving programs
•The Communication Digital team: Supporting communication activities that relate to our internal digital tools and reporting
•The Communication teams: Helping with the development of internal and external communication assets in a variety of different media.
This individual will work as part of a delivery team, with opportunities to learn from corporate responsibility, digital tools and reporting, internal communication and change management, external communication, project management and other professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Corporate Responsibility team to manage WTW’s matching gifts and charitable giving programs, ensuring compliance with requirements, managing the shared mailboxes and responding to colleague inquiries about the submission process, eligibility and status of their submission
    • Administer the matching gift and charitable giving programs efficiently and consistently, ensuring alignment with policies and guidance, using established communication frameworks and templates when possible
    • Manage the charitable giving program log (including accurate data entry), help to develop and test the PowerApps matching gift form product enhancements, and identify opportunities to streamline, improve and update processes and strategies for both the matching gifts and charitable giving programs
  • Work with the Communication Digital team to support reporting on communication-related metrics, demographics and trends; Communication function intranet pages; and colleague inquiries on internal digital tools
    • Manage communication/distribution channels (such as Viva Engage, Teams Live Events and Town Halls, intranet content, Poppulo, and Outlook mailboxes and distribution lists); experience with these tools is a plus (training will be provided)
  • Work with the Communication teams to develop content, edit and format deliverables in a variety of media, and coordinate activities for the review/approval and distribution processes
    • Create project plans and timelines for deliverables and activities; gather and synthesize relevant information from various subject matter experts; manage the review and approval process to ensure timely delivery
    • Review and edit documents for clarity, consistency and quality; ensure adherence with WTW brand and style standards, using WTW AI tools to support the review process
    • Coordinate with other resources/vendors as needed (such as intranet advisory, translation and video production)
  • Continue to develop technical knowledge and skills in the areas of corporate giving, digital tools and reporting (including AI), internal communication and change management, and external communication/public relations
Qualifications

Requirements

  • Three-plus years of corporate communication, public relations, marketing or corporate responsibility experience; Global Service Delivery Center environment experience a plus; WTW experience also a plus
  • Good communicator with excellent all-around listening, writing, editorial and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with data entry, interpretation and validation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint; experience in AI and PowerBI a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross team, cross functionally and cross culturally
  • Detail-oriented, organized and adaptable with solid business and financial acumen
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, self-manage and prioritize workload
  • Experience handling sensitive and confidential issues
  • Can work flexibly — with colleagues in multiple locations and sometimes over extended hours, as required
  • Synthesizes direction, navigates ambiguity and prioritizes actions from a variety of stakeholders
