Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Commodity Trader to actively trade a variety of commodities including precious metals, energy, and agri products. You will operate across MCX and other platforms depending on volatility and opportunities.

You will monitor global cues, react to overnight developments, and execute strategies with strict risk controls. A finance or agri economics background is preferred, with a capacity to thrive in high-volatility markets.

Qualifications

• Have MCX trading experience and understand margins, lot sizes, tick values.
• Interpret inventory reports, economic indicators and price charts.
• Stay updated on global trends affecting commodity prices.
• Background in Finance or Agri Economics or self-taught market junkie.
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-volatility conditions.

Responsibilities

• Actively trade commodities like Gold, Silver, Crude Oil, Natural Gas, and Agri products.
• Operate across MCX and other platforms based on volatility and opportunity.
• Monitor international cues: inventory reports, global news, weather patterns, OPEC decisions, and dollar movement.
• React fast to overnight developments and macro shifts.
• Trade directional or range-based setups with tight risk control.
• Apply scalping, breakout, trend-following, or calendar spread strategies depending on market structure.
• Stick to drawdown limits, margin safety, and volatility filters.
• Know when to trade and when to stay flat; discipline is key.
• Maintain trade logs with detailed entry/exit logic and P&L reviews.
• Engage in regular team reviews to optimize edge.

Risk Management

Reporting & Analysis

• Maintain trade logs with detailed entry/exit logic and P&L reviews.
• Engage in regular team reviews to optimize edge.
