Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer for water/construction projects in India. The candidate should have a BE and extensive commissioning exposure, including pre-commissioning, startup and test runs.

You will study contract commissioning requirements, develop plans, and ensure deliverables per specifications, while coordinating with project management, consultants, and customers for handover to operations. Strong communication and PM scheduling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Min. 70% of total experience in Commissioning.
• Strong understanding of construction & water projects.
• Proficient in project management methodologies and scheduling tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Minimize vendor visits by effective coordination.
• Prepare commissioning documentation including Manuals and SOPs.
• PGTR/hand over to operations and vendor coordination.
• Participate in interface meetings with other disciplines.
• Assist with construction and handover phases.
• Ensure smooth and compliant commissioning process.

• Min. 70% of the total experience in Commissioning. Manage all aspects of pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and test runs.
• Study the project contract commissioning requirements and coordinate with project management to ensure the contract deliverables as per specifications.
• Develop and execute commissioning plans and schedules against the completion plan of construction.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Manage and prepare commissioning documentation, like Manuals, SOP (Standard Operating Procedure)
• Coordination with Consultant/Customer for the way forward to commissioning/PGTR/ handover to operation.
• Participate in project planning and meetings. Conduct regular interface meeting with other discipline to way forward the completion of Pre commissioning /commissioning activities.
