Job summary

NLB Services in India is seeking an Analyst - Commercial Lending Operations to accurately board commercial credit facilities into the bank's loan servicing system after loan closing. You will ensure all terms, covenants, collateral details, and customer data are correct to support servicing, disbursement, billing and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong data validation, attention to detail, and collaboration with Loan Closers, Relationship Managers, Credit Administration and Servicing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years banking operations experience preferred.
• Understanding of commercial lending products is a plus.

Analyst - Commercial Lending Operations

Role Purpose

Responsible for accurately boarding commercial credit facilities into the bank's loan servicing system following loan closing. Ensure all loan terms, covenants, collateral details, and customer information are established accurately to support servicing, disbursement, billing, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Loan Setup & Validation

• Review executed loan documents and booking instructions.
• Board commercial loans, lines of credit, term loans, revolvers, and syndicated facilities into servicing systems.
• Validate borrower information, facility structure, pricing, payment schedules, fees, and collateral details.
• Verify documentation completeness prior to booking.

Quality & Controls

• Perform dual verification of loan attributes.
• Identify documentation discrepancies and escalation exceptions.
• Adhere to bank policies, regulatory requirements, and SOPs.
• Maintain audit-ready records and documentation.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Partner with Loan Closers, Relationship Managers, Credit Administration, Legal, and Servicing teams.
• Communicate booking status and exceptions.
• Support customer and internal inquiries related to loan setup.

Reporting

• Track boarding volumes and turnaround times.
• Update workflow tools and operational dashboards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent. Candidates with CFA/ FRM or pursuing are preferred.
• 0-2 years of banking operations experience.
• Understanding of commercial lending products preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
