Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking a Manager – Commercial Controller for India region to lead revenue recognition, AR processes, and financial reporting in collaboration with Sales, Lead to Cash, and site teams.

You will analyze revenue and margins before month-end, finalize AR reports, reconcile customer accounts, manage LC activities, and support audits with internal and external teams. CA with 8–10 years of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• CA with 8–10 years post-qualification experience in Account Receivable and Revenue recognition.
• Hands-on experience in SAP S/4 Hana.
• Strong knowledge of monthly revenue reporting and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Revenue and margin analysis before month end and publication of Revenue MIS.
• Preparation and finalisation of Monthly AR report.
• Customer account reconciliation.
• LC scrutiny, tracing and advising copy for settlements.
• Monthy MIS – AR, retention, and related metrics.
• Audit liaison with internal and external auditors to ensure timely deliverables.

Job Description:

Manager – Commercial Controller for India Region, working closely with Sales, Lead to Cash, Financial Reporting and Credit Risk.

– Revenue, Margin analysis before month end and publishing of Revenue MIS.

– Preparation and finalization of Monthly AR report.

– Customer account reconciliation.

– TRM contract and inventory management.

– Follow-up with customer, sales, and site team for dues and overdue receivable.

– LC – Scrutiny, Tracing, and Arranging Advising Copy (Domestic and Foreign).

– Finalization of revenue and unbilled revenue.

– Review of KPI for shared service of LTC.

– Support to marketing team to resolve issues at customer level.

– Sales and margin report, reconciliation with GL, review and analysis of customer margin with appropriate reasoning.

– Monthly MIS – Account receivable, Retention etc.

– AR upload on global portal as per due date.

– Collaborate with external auditors and Internal auditors to ensure audit deliverables are provided timely and timely completion of audit.

About you:

– CA with minimum 8 – 10 years post qualification experience in Account Receivable and Revenue recognition.

– Hands on experience in SAP S/4 Hana.
