Qualifications

• Experience in EB and Non-EB claims is preferred.
• Understanding of policy terms, documentation, and settlement processes.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle and coordinate Non-EB/Commercial insurance claims from intimation to closure.
• Review claim documents, verify details, and coordinate with insurers for processing and settlement.
• Assist clients with claim requirements, documentation, status updates, and queries.
• Coordinate with insurers, TPAs, hospitals, surveyors, and other stakeholders as applicable.
• Follow up on pending claims and work towards timely resolution.
• Identify documentation gaps and coordinate with clients and insurers to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate claim records, trackers, and case updates.
• Escalate delayed, disputed, or complex claims to stakeholders for resolution.
• Ensure claims are processed per policy terms and insurer requirements.
• Prepare regular reports on claim status, pending cases, settlements, and metrics.
• Build strong client relationships with timely updates and support throughout the process.

About the Role

We are looking for a Commercial Claims Specialist to manage and coordinate insurance claims across Non-Employee Benefits (Non-EB) policies. The role involves coordinating with clients, insurers, and internal teams to ensure smooth claim processing, timely updates, and a positive claims experience.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of insurance claims, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases while ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and coordinate Non-EB/Commercial insurance claims from intimation to closure.
• Review claim documents, verify details, and coordinate with insurers for claim processing and settlement.
• Assist clients with claim requirements, documentation, status updates, and queries.
• Coordinate with insurance companies, TPAs, hospitals, surveyors, and other stakeholders, as applicable.
• Follow up on pending claims and work towards timely resolution of outstanding cases.
• Identify documentation gaps and coordinate with clients and insurers to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate claim records, trackers, and case updates.
• Escalate delayed, disputed, or complex claims to the relevant stakeholders for resolution.
• Ensure claims are processed in accordance with policy terms, insurer requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Prepare regular reports on claim status, pending cases, settlements, and other key metrics.
• Build strong client relationships by providing timely updates and support throughout the claims process.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in insurance claims handling, claims servicing, or insurance broking.
• Experience in both Employee Benefits (EB) and Non-Employee Benefits (Non-EB) claims is preferred.
• Understanding of insurance policy terms, claims documentation, and settlement processes.
• Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and claims tracking systems.
