• Supervise HBA operators and technicians, ensuring safety standards are followed.
• Coordinate maintenance for HBA line equipment to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of production data, downtime, and improvement actions.

Job Purpose

To manage HBA shift operations efficiently,ensuring high-quality output, cost-effective production, and adherence tosafety and quality standards .

Key Responsibilities

• HBA Operation Management : Oversee daily shift operations of the HBA toensure consistent production of high-quality stainless steel coils.
• Production Planning Execution : Execute production plans to achieve maximumoutput with optimum resource utilization and cost efficiency.
• Process Control : Monitor annealing parameters such as furnacezone temperature, tension, TV, degreasing tank PH as per SOP to maintainproduct specifications.
• Quality Assurance : Monitor coil quality, defects and ensurecompliance to product specifications and customer requirement.
• Team Leadership : Supervise and guide HBA operators, andtechnicians to maintain high performance and safety standards.
• Troubleshooting : Identify and resolve issues related to HBA,coil defects, and process deviations.
• Maintenance Coordination : Collaborate with maintenance teams forpreventive and breakdown maintenance of HBA line equipment to minimizedowntime.
• Inventory & Resource Management : Manage inventory of Coils, Unikleen, andother consumables to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Documentation & Reporting : Maintain detailed records of productiondata, process parameters, downtime analysis, and improvement actions.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure safety rule implementation, workpermits, LOTO, 5’S housekeeping and statutory compliance during shiftoperations.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma in Mechanical /Production Engineeringor equivalent with 2 to 3 year experience.

• TechnicalExpertise in Bright annealing Process:Understanding of Bright annealing process and process parameters (Zonetemperature, degreasing PH, CR defects etc).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word,PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of SAP / PPDS as EndUser.
