FlexBoard seeks a Coding Compliance Educator to ensure consistent coding guidance across the organization. You will work under the Director of Compliance Audit to manage provider inquiries and educate clinical leadership on guidelines.

Responsibilities include presenting at leadership meetings, creating training materials, and reviewing CPT updates to continually improve education programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health sciences, business, or related field.
• 3 years of coding compliance experience in hospital/physician billing or compliance.
• Coding Certification required (CPC, CPC-H, CPC-P).

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to provider inquiries and provide coding guidance.
• Educate providers and clinical leadership on coding guidelines.
• Present at clinical leadership meetings upon request.
• Prepare presentations for meetings with providers and leadership.
• Train providers and clinical leadership on coding guidelines.
• Assist Director of Compliance Audit with creation of job aids describing coding rules.
• Review CPT coding guidelines and create annual education material.
• Review audit results with auditing team to identify trends.
• Schedule regular site meetings with providers and clinical leadership.
• Develop educational programs and materials regarding coding compliance.
• Provide feedback and education based on auditing and monitoring results.

• Responsible for managing and responding to provider inquiries

• Present at clinical leadership meetings upon request
• Prepare and create presentations for meetings with providers and clinical leadership
• Train providers and clinical leadership on coding guidelines
• Assist Director of Compliance Audit with the creation of job aids to describe coding rules
• Review and analyze new CPT coding guidelines and create education material annually
• Review audit results with the auditing team to identify trends
• Schedule regular site meetings with reputed company providers and clinical leadership
• Manage and respond reputed company to provider inquiries
• Works with auditors and conducts trend analyses to identify patterns
• Develops and coordinates educational and training programs regarding reputed company of the coding compliance program
• Provides feedback and reputed company educational programs based on the results of auditing and monitoring activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a health sciences discipline, business, or reputed company field desired
• 3 years of experience in coding compliance, preferably with a reputed company on auditing or education in hospital or physician reputed company billing and coding operations or compliance
• Coding Certification required (Any of CPC, CPC-H, reputed company, reputed company-P)
