Position: Backend Wordpress Developer
Experience: 5+ Years
Location: NCR Region (Hybrid)
Notice period: Immediate Joiners

Job Responsibilities:

1. Work Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of strong experience in Core PHP & WordPress Development.
2. Extensive WordPress development experience – Must have.
3. Experience with Gutenberg architecture both native and creating new functionality and blocks – Must have.
4. Strong knowledge in JavaScript, React, jQuery, and AJAX – Must have.
5. WordPress CLI – Good to have.
6. Strong with PHP & OOP’s – Must have.
7. Develop back-end components, connect the application with other web services, and front-end development by ensuring work integrates with the application – Must have.
8. Develop and integrate plug-ins for popular frameworks – Good to have.
9. The integration of REST APIs from external sources – Must have.
10. Write lean, well-designed code including PHPCS – Must have.
11. Ability to modify and customize plugins and create new plugins, as necessary – Good to have.
12. Ability to programmatically create/update content in WordPress – Must have.
13. Ability to programmatically retrieve content in WordPress – Must have.
14. Experience with libraries such as React/Angular (or anything equivalent) is a plus – Must have.
15. Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and developing web services – Good to have.
16. Experience with WordPress VIP – Good to have.
17. Good knowledge of development workflow best practices – Must have.
18. Knowledge and experience of Agile teams and practices – Good to have.
19. Code review and unit testing – Must have.
20. Understanding Single and Multi-Site infrastructure – Must have.
