Job summary

Skillsonics India is seeking a hands-on CNC Trainer with 4–6 years of industry experience to deliver classroom and practical training on CNC and VMC machines in Pimpri Chinchwad. The trainer will guide students in machine operation, setup, programming, and maintenance, preparing them for industry requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• ITI in Turner/Machinist with relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and practical training on CNC and VMC machines.
• Train candidates on machine operation, setup, tooling, and workpiece alignment.
• Demonstrate CNC/VMC programming manually using G-code and M-code.
• Develop and optimize machining programs for different components.
• Explain machine settings, cutting parameters, tool selection, and process optimization.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot machine-related issues.
• Train students on machine safety, quality standards, and shop-floor best practices.
• Prepare lesson plans, practical assignments, assessments, and training reports.
• Evaluate trainee performance and provide continuous feedback.
• Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and training records.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and organizational standards.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on CNC / VMC Trainer with a minimum of 4 years of industry experience in CNC and VMC machine operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in machine operation, programming, setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance, with the ability to independently operate and program machines. The trainer will be responsible for delivering practical and classroom training to students and preparing them for industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of CNC Turning, CNC Milling, and VMC Machines.
• Hands-on experience in manual programming (G-Code & M-Code).
• Expertise in machine setup, tool offset, work offset, and fixture setting.
• Experience in operating machines independently from programming to final machining.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective machine maintenance.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, measuring instruments, and quality inspection.
• Familiarity with cutting tools, inserts, and machining parameters.
• Good communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office for documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• ITI in Turner/Machinist with relevant industry experience may also be considered.

Experience

• 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience in CNC/VMC machining.
• Proven experience in:
• CNC/VMC Machine Operation
• Manual Programming (G-Code & M-Code)
• Machine Setup and Tool Setting
• Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance
• Production and Quality Control
• Prior training or teaching experience will be an added advantage.
