Job summary

Abelha is seeking a skilled CNC woodworking technician to draw and edit parts in AutoCAD and program toolpaths in ArtCAM Pro, DeskProto. You will set up CNC routers and lathes for hardwoods and various materials, selecting feeds and speeds based on grain and moisture, while maintaining equipment.

Experience with ArtCAM Pro, AutoCAD and DeskProto is essential, along with the ability to operate CNC woodworking machines and a solid understanding of timber behavior during cutting.

Qualifications

• Proficient in ArtCAM Pro, AutoCAD and DeskProto for CNC woodworking.
• Ability to program and operate CNC woodworking machines.
• Understand timber behavior during cutting.

Responsibilities

• Draw and edit parts in AutoCAD.
• Program relief, carving and cutting toolpaths in ArtCAM Pro and 3D toolpaths in DeskProto.
