Paytm, India's leading mobile payments and financial services company, seeks a seasoned sales professional and people manager to lead the QR & Sound Box vertical in the Bilaspur region. The role focuses on expanding distribution, market presence, and revenue through strategic team leadership and extensive merchant deployment.

The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of sales experience in B2C markets, strong networking and mentoring abilities, and the capacity to coach a growing sales team

Qualifications

• MBA (Marketing) required.
• 8-12 years’ experience in sales and business development in B2C markets.
• Willing to travel throughout the specified area.

Responsabilités

• Grow distribution and market share in the assigned area.
• Increase visibility and accountability through extensive QR & Sound Box deployment and product sales.
• Identify and recruit the sales team to drive business in the market.
• Plan market size, span and geographies for ASMs.
• Devise effective communication of plans/targets to the team to minimize delivery gaps.
• Monitor quality parameters as directed by Management.
• Validate and audit acquisitions and sales by the team.

QR/Soundbox team is one of the biggest business and payments vertical in the organization that is focused on merchant acquisition, merchant retention and growth of merchants in India.

About the Role:

Paytm is looking for an experienced sales professional & people manager to be a part of the QR & Sound Box vertical.

Expectations/ Requirements:

1.Growth of distribution and market share in the assigned area of operations. 2. Visibility & accountability through extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product 3. Identify and recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the Market

1. Plan the market size, span and geographies for ASMs. 5.Devise best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.

2. Monitor the quality parameters as suggested by the Management

3. Validate and conduct audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.

Must Have:

Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area. Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application the new learnt ideas and concepts.

Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role:

1. Self-starters, who can take ownership and are comfortable navigating ambiguity, will be an ideal fit. 8-12 years’ experience in sales - business development, B2C markets

2. Passionate about working in a fast-growing firms and large team handling.

3. Articulate complex solutions to novice customers.

4. Good sales and negotiation skills. Experience in quota driven sales is a must.

5. Experience in payments and finance is a plus - though not mandatory
