Paytm Payments Services is seeking an experienced sales leader and people manager to drive the QR & Sound Box vertical, expand distribution, and scale a large sales organization across multiple geographies.

The role emphasizes building a high-performing team, coaching, and strategic market planning to achieve aggressive growth in payments and digital commerce. Extensive travel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth of distribution and market share in the assigned area.
• Ensure visibility through extensive QR and Sound Box deployment and product sales.
• Identify and recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
• Plan market size, span and geographies for ASMs.
• Communicate plans and targets clearly to the team to minimize gaps.
• Monitor quality parameters as directed by management.
• Validate and audit acquisitions and sales performed by the team.
• Manage a large team of 5–10 TSMS and 200+ indirect employees.

About the Role:

Paytm is looking for an experienced sales professional & people manager to be a part of the QR & Sound Box vertical.

Expectations/ Requirements:

• 1.Growth of distribution and market share in the assigned area of operations.
• 2.Visibility & accountability through extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product .
• 3.Identify and recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
• 4.Plan the market size, span and geographies for ASMs .
• 5.Devise best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
• 6.Monitor the quality parameters as suggested by the management.
• 7.Validate and conduct audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.
• 8. People manage a large team of 5-10 TSMs & 200+ indirect employees.

Must Have:

Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area. Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application the new learnt ideas and concepts.

Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role :

• 1. Self-starters, who can take ownership and are comfortable navigating ambiguity, will be an ideal fit. 8-12 years experience in sales - business development, B2C markets
• 2. Passionate about working in a fast growing firms and large team handling.
• 3. Articulate complex solutions to novice customers.
• 4. Good sales and negotiation skills. Experience in quota driven sales is a must.
• 5. Experience in payments and finance is a plus - though not mandatory
