BFSI connect in Rajkot is seeking a Cluster Litigation Manager to oversee legal and recovery cases across the region. The role requires coordinating with local lawyers, collection teams, and authorities to drive timely resolution.

You will handle civil, criminal, SARFAESI and arbitration matters, ensure filings, maintain MIS, and vet repossession documents, while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing high-volume litigation portfolios across multiple locations.
• Ability to coordinate with regional business and collection teams effectively.
• Strong command over local laws and legal processes related to recovery and enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all legal and recovery cases within the assigned cluster.
• Liaise with advocates, recovery agents, and internal collection teams for effective case follow-up.
• Represent the company’s interests in civil, criminal, SARFAESI, and arbitration matters.
• Ensure timely filing and closure of cases, including Section 138 (cheque bounce), 420, and DRT proceedings.
• Maintain and update litigation MIS reports, track case progress and legal costs.
• Conduct due diligence and provide legal vetting support for repossessions and settlements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory frameworks.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal notices, plaints, affidavits, and recovery documents.
