Job summary

Cyber Sphere is seeking a senior Infrastructure Engineer to manage Azure IaaS workloads, VMware ESXi-7 environments, and AKS clusters in a hybrid setup. The role emphasizes automation of provisioning with Terraform and ARM templates, plus critical incident resolution across on-prem and cloud systems.

You will configure and maintain high-availability, DR, and hybrid identity integrations while supporting legacy systems during modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Microsoft Azure IaaS workloads including VMs, storage, networking, and identity integrations.
• Experience administering VMware ESXi-7 hosts, vCenter, clusters, lifecycle upgrades and patching.
• Experience deploying and maintaining AKS clusters including node pools, scaling, upgrades, networking, and workload operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Microsoft Azure IaaS workloads including VMs, storage, networking, and identity integrations.
• Administer VMware ESXi-7 hosts, vCenter, HA/DRS clusters, lifecycle upgrades, and host patching.

• Build and automate infrastructure using Terraform and ARM templates for consistent provisioning.
• Configure and maintain DRS clusters and high-availability setups for critical workloads.
• Administer Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and hybrid identity integrations.
• Support legacy systems and assist modernization/migration to Azure and updated VMware/Nutanix platforms.
• Perform daily health checks, patching, compliance validation, and incident resolution across hybrid environments.
• Troubleshoot virtualization, storage, networking, and identity issues across on-prem and cloud systems.
