Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Deep understanding of database design, data modeling, and normalization.
• Experience managing databases on GCP Cloud SQL / AWS RDS / Aurora.
• Proficiency in query optimization, execution plans, index strategy, and performance database monitoring.
• Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers for business logic and data processing.
• Write SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Hands‑on scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
• Understanding of networking, IAM, security, and DevOps principles.
• Implement and maintain replication, clustering, backup, and recovery strategies.

Good to have

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Exposure to ETL frameworks and data integration tools (Informatica, Talend, or Airflow).
