Job summary

Virtusa is seeking a Cloud Solution Engineer – AI to design, implement, and support scalable AWS cloud solutions. The role emphasizes hands-on AWS architecture, automation, CI/CD, and containerized environments, with exposure to AI capabilities and tools.

You will collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, and application teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions that leverage AI platforms and related tools, including Copilot Studio.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with 7+ years hands-on cloud work.
• Strong hands-on AWS Cloud experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS architecture and solution design.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD.
• Mandatory experience with AWS ECS and EKS.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts and VPC.
• Experience with AWS services SQS, SNS, SES, and Control Tower.
• Experience in AI/GenAI-enabled cloud solutions and automation.

Position: Cloud Solution Engineer – AI Role Purpose: We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solution Engineer with strong AWS cloud and AI capabilities to design, implement, and support scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions. The role requires strong hands‑on experience in AWS architecture, cloud infrastructure, automation, CI/CD, and containerized environments, along with an understanding of AI capabilities and tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions using AWS.
• Develop and maintain AWS cloud architecture aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Work extensively with AWS container services, including ECS and EKS.
• Develop automation and scripting solutions using Python.
• Work with AWS networking, VPC, Elastic services, and core AWS services.
• Implement and manage AWS services including SQS, SNS, SES, and AWS Control Tower.
• Contribute to cloud automation and AI-enabled solutions using relevant AI platforms and tools, including Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, security, and application teams to deliver cloud solutions.
• Ensure cloud solutions follow security, governance, scalability, and operational best practices.

Must-Have Skills

• 10 years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 7+ years of hands‑on cloud experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience in AWS Cloud.
• Strong experience in AWS Architecture and solution design.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform.
• Hands‑on experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD.
• Mandatory experience with AWS ECS and EKS.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking concepts and VPC.
