Job summary

Epicor India, Bengaluru, is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage production infrastructure and provide SME support across IT teams. The role focuses on Azure AKS, Windows Server, and SQL Server administration, with automation and troubleshooting at its core.

The candidate will engage in deployment automation, handle escalations, and collaborate to meet departmental goals while balancing multiple priorities. Weekend work is required as part of the schedule.

Job description

Duties & Responsibilities

• Triage issues across different areas of the organization and manage ServiceNow Tasks.
• Manage production infrastructure and provide SME support to teams outside IT.
• Support automation of web application deployments.
• Follow defined escalation paths and SLAs for effective issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot and maintain software applications and investigate complex technical issues.
• Work collaboratively to achieve departmental goals while managing multiple priorities.

Required Skills & Abilities

• Strong technical aptitude in modern IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and enterprise applications.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL/database administration concepts.
• Experience creating or maintaining PowerShell scripts and other automation tools is preferred.
• Exposure to Kubernetes, containerized environments, and automation technologies is a plus.
• Experience with GitHub Actions is an added advantage.
• AWS exposure is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing technologies and customer environments.
• Strong organizational, customer‑service, and issue‑resolution skills.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented, proactive, and effective in a collaborative team environment.
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.
