Levi Strauss & Co in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Cloud Ops Engineer II to provide hands-on support for Azure and Google Cloud platforms. You will implement Infrastructure as Code, automate processes, manage CI/CD workflows, and help maintain secure, observable cloud services with a focus on cost efficiency.

The role requires 4–6 years of cloud ops experience, familiarity with Azure/GCP, and certifications are a plus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field.
• Typically 4-6 years of relevant experience supporting cloud infrastructure, production operations, systems administration, DevOps, or site reliability.
• Hands-on experience with Azure or Google Cloud; exposure to the other platform is preferred.
• Associate-level Azure or Google Cloud certification is preferred; Terraform, Kubernetes, Linux, ITIL, security, or FinOps certification is a plus.
• Working knowledge of cloud compute, storage, networking, load balancing, DNS, IAM, secrets, backup, resilience, and disaster recovery concepts.
• Experience with Git and at least two of the following: Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Bash, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and support Azure and GCP compute, storage, networking, identity, container, database, and managed platform services.
• Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests; troubleshoot with logs, metrics, traces, and documented procedures.
• Support 24x7 production services through on-call rotation and incident response activities.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or equivalent tools.
• Operate and improve CI/CD and GitOps workflows using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms.
• Support containerized workloads and managed Kubernetes services such as AKS or GKE, including deployment and basic troubleshooting.
• Build and maintain observability dashboards, alerts, SLIs/SLOs, runbooks, and automated remediation.
• Apply DevSecOps practices for IAM, secrets, vulnerability remediation, policy as code, and supply-chain security.
• Use FinOps reports to optimize costs and resource tagging and rightsizing.
• Leverage generative AI and AIOps tools to summarize telemetry and accelerate troubleshooting; ensure data privacy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors; maintain operational records and knowledge base.

The role helps maintain secure, reliable, observable, and cost-effective cloud services while building foundational expertise in cloud engineering, automation, DevOps, and AI-enabled operations.This position works within established architectures, standards, and runbooks.
