Job summary

Zebra Technologies is seeking a Cloud Operations Specialist to monitor and manage cloud environments in a hybrid setup. You will troubleshoot, coordinate with teams, and ensure SLA adherence in a 24x7 environment.

The role requires 2+ years in an operations team handling networking, cloud infrastructure and incident management, with strong scripting and security awareness. Hybrid work model offered in India.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows, Linux, web services, networking, databases and cloud platforms.
• Entry level cloud, network or security certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, CompTIA or other vendors.
• Knowledge of SIEM, ELK, PLG and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is preferred.
• Cyber security certifications like Security+, SSCP, CCSP or CEH are a plus.
• Familiarity with markup, querying and scripting languages including Python, HTML, PromQL, SQL and REST API calls; PowerShell is a plus.
• Experience with ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge and Event Management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot issues, escalate to maintain health and performance.
• Observe dashboards, resolve basic issues, and coordinate with internal departments or customers.
• Be aware of SLAs; escalate if cases take too long to resolve.
• Document troubleshooting steps and actions in the case management system.
• Schedule resources to cover weekends and on-call shifts as needed.
• Monitor case backlog to meet SLAs and KPI targets; report status to stakeholders.
• Be able to work shifts in a 24x7x365 environment.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to incident management in a 24x7x365 operational environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Diligently observe and interpret cloud monitoring dashboards and alerts• Resolve basic issues; escalate urgent and complex issues. Know the difference• Coordinate with internal departments and sometimes with customers• Be aware of customer SLA’s and escalate issues if cases are taking too long to resolve• Document all troubleshooting and issue management actions via the electronic case management system• Schedule resources and arrange work effort to cover weekends and/or on-call shifts to be available to be engaged in response to system-initiated alerts• Monitoring case backlog to ensure we meet agreed SLAs with customers and internal KPI targets; share regular status reports with stakeholders• Be able to work in a variety of different shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays to support a 24x7x365 environment.
