Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz in Delhi seeks a skilled DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS, and to manage OpenShift platforms for deployments, upgrades, and performance tuning.

You will also provide Elasticsearch administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and data lifecycle management, collaborating with cross-functional teams while adhering to security and cost optimization practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Production-grade Azure and AWS experience required.
• Strong OpenShift administration experience.
• Elasticsearch administration and tuning experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS, including networking, compute, storage, IAM, monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Support and administer OpenShift platforms, including cluster operations, application deployments, upgrades, troubleshooting, security, and performance tuning.
• Provide Elasticsearch support, including cluster administration, indexing and search performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, backup/recovery, and data lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Proven experience supporting and administering Azure and AWS cloud environments in production.
• Strong hands‑on experience with OpenShift platform administration and support.
• Practical experience with Elasticsearch administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
