A leading financial services firm in Mumbai is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Cloud Architect to lead end-to-end cloud projects and mentor a DevOps engineering team. This full-time position requires expertise in cloud architecture, deployment, and migration for IaaS and PaaS platforms. Responsibilities include designing scalable environments, managing CI/CD pipelines, and implementing operational controls while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing cloud standards and optimizing costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cloud architecture, deployment, and migration projects for IaaS, PaaS, and container platforms.
• Design and implement high-availability, scalable, and secure cloud environments.
• Define and manage CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
• Oversee cloud network architecture, including security groups, VPC/VNet, firewalls, load balancing, and DNS.
• Monitor cloud costs and implement FinOps strategies for cost optimization and governance.
• Implement strong operational controls, including backup, disaster recovery, compliance, and observability.
• Collaborate with application, security, and DevOps teams to enable cloud-native solutions.
• Lead cloud vulnerability remediation and support security audits.
• Mentor and guide a cloud/DevOps engineering team.
• Develop and maintain cloud standards, best practices, and documentation.
