Job summary

Data Eminence is seeking a remote Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure and applications. You will work across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, focusing on Linux, networking, security, and automation.

The role offers hands-on experience with containers, CI/CD, Terraform, and monitoring tools. You will collaborate with developers and IT teams to ensure scalable, secure cloud environments, while contributing to cost monitoring and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience in cloud computing, infrastructure, or relevant projects
• Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Understanding of Linux and command-line operations
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
• Familiarity with virtual machines and cloud storage
• Basic understanding of cloud security and IAM
• Knowledge of Git and GitHub
• Familiarity with Docker is a plus
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Bash or Python scripting is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and teamwork; able to work remotely

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of cloud computing, Linux, networking, and infrastructure fundamentals. This role provides hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure management, containerization, monitoring, and DevOps practices.

At Data Eminence, we use modern cloud technologies to build scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure. As a Cloud Engineer, you will collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and IT teams to manage cloud environments and support application deployment and infrastructure operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Deploy and manage cloud-based applications and services.

• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and availability.
