Roles and Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Design: Architect and deploy scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Automation: Implement automation tools and scripts for provisioning, monitoring, and managing cloud resources to enhance efficiency.
• Security: Ensure cloud environments adhere to security best practices, including data encryption, access control, and compliance with industry standards.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor cloud performance, optimize resource usage, and implement cost‑saving strategies to maximize ROI.
• Collaboration: Work with developers, DevOps teams, and stakeholders to integrate cloud services with applications and workflows.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve cloud-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability of services.
• CI/CD Integration: Support continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to streamline application deployment in cloud environments.

Qualifications and Skills

• Cloud Expertise: Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with hands‑on experience in services such as EC2, S3, or Kubernetes.
• Automation Skills: Experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
• Scripting: Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and orchestration.
• Networking Knowledge: Understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, load balancers, and DNS configurations.
• Security Acumen: Familiarity with cloud security practices, including IAM, encryption, and compliance frameworks like GDPR or HIPAA.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
