Job summary

Infotel India is seeking a skilled professional to join the Cloud team in Chennai. The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining automation scripts with Ansible and Terraform, working on containerization of applications, and training other team members.

With a focus on critical thinking and problem-solving, candidates should have a Bachelor/Master’s in computer science, along with 5+ years in IT Operations or Software Engineering, and 2+ years expertise in various cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT Operations or Software Engineering.
• At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with a Cloud provider (IBM/AWS/Azure/Google).
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Ansible & Terraform.

Responsibilities

Overview

Position Purpose: As part of our transformation programs, we need to board our applications on IBM cloud by 2026. Within the implementation team, the candidate will work with multiple teams, including Engineering, Infrastructure, and development teams.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

As a member of the Cloud team, the candidate will:

• Build and maintain Ansible playbooks and terraform scripts to automate provisioning, configuration and deployments
• Work on containerization of legacy applications
• Assist & train other ops profiles on Ansible, Terraform and K8s
