TruTalent.ai in Bengaluru is seeking a proactive observability engineer to define and promote best practices for public cloud deployments. You will automate provisioning of observability tooling with Terraform and build central Terraform modules to standardize logging, metrics, and alerting across application teams.

The role requires hands-on experience with AWS observability tools, Prometheus, Datadog, and Terraform, plus strong communication to influence peers and executives.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in building observability solutions in the public cloud.
• Experience with version control, CI/CD, deployment, and configuration management tools in a DevOps environment.
• Experience meeting demands for high availability and scale.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively, both written and orally, across diverse technology teams.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• Proficiency in building observability solutions in the public cloud.
• Experience with version control, continuous integration, deployment, and configuration management tools in a DevOps environment.
• Experience meeting demands for high availability and scale.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively, both written and orally, as well as the interpersonal skills required to collaborate effectively with colleagues across diverse technology teams.
• Ability to rapidly and effectively understand and translate requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Linux environment, including system engineering, high availability design, performance analysis, network troubleshooting.
• Hands on experience in Amazon web services, such as Cloudwatch, EC2, ECS, IAM and KMS.
• Hands on experience with open-source or commercial observability tools like Prometheus, Datadog or Pagerduty.
• Experience using infrastructure as code tools (e.g. Terraform).
• Experience using CICD (preferably Gitlab).
